Discovery Tours are a way of capturing some of the colour and diversity of this Balearic island without being too taxing. They’ll operate within the warmer months of June and September and vary in location as they go!

The basic ingredients will always include walking, local food and wine tasting with maybe a visit to a winery and accommodation you wouldn’t find with major tour operators.

What’s included:-
The price is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (although a single supplement is available.)
The tour wouldn’t be complete without the services of a guide and our
driver for the luggage between Llucmajor and Manacor.

Meals are as follows :
Evening meals provided for the 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd nights (two choice menu of the day at most venues).
Breakfast every day and Picnic on day three.
Day 1:
Arrive at Palma airport and make your way to the town of Llucmajor, where you’ll be picked up and transferred to the Sanctuary de Randa on top of a 555mtr hill (Sunset walk for those that fancy after dinner)– Staying at the sanctuary.
Day 2:
Early in the day we visit either a Bodega/Sobrasada or cheese factory in nearby Porreres, before heading to Cala Mondrago natural park to check into our hotel. From here, we’re transported to the instantly recognisable Cala Figuera (Whose pictures have adorned many a hotel lobby) to walk back to Mondrago via rural landscape and shoreline (10km approx). On arrival the aqua marine bay or the hotel pool will offer a refreshing invite to cool you down – Stay at Mondrago.

Day 3:
After breakfast it’s time to venture north to Porto Colom for morning coffee and a little exploration. Journeying further up the coast we hit Porto Cristo and it’s here we lunch, prior to walking by the water’s edge to the former talaiotic settlement of S’Illot for our last night (12km approx). This is not the sort of hotel I usually use but what the hell, you deserve it! – Stay at S’illot.
Day 4: Homeward bound or extend?
S’illot is located about half way up the east coast, not far from the islands biggest town Manacor and during the morning after breakie, we can gladly shuttle folks to its train station which gets you back to the south and the airport. Other transport connections are numerous at this time of year, with public buses, resorthoppa buses and taxis offering regular service back to the airport after your stay.
Level of difficulty :- This holiday should present no difficulties to anyone in good condition who’s used to walking on stoney hilly ground. The heat is the most important thing to consider at this time of year. Therefore the tour is graded C+/B
